Why subscribe?
Mini Philosophy is a space to explore ideas. It’s where we pause the busyness of life to reflect on ourselves, our relationships, and the Universe. Over our time together, we’ll zoom in on big-name philosophers like Plato, Al-Farabi, Nietzsche, Lao Tzu, or de Beauvoir. Other times, we’ll look at concepts, like ambition, the law of non-contradiction, or feeling the breeze on your skin. We’ll learn what these mean and how these apply to everyday life.
Occasionally, we’ll venture into philosophy’s borderlands. We’ll dip a toe in sociology, take a peek into psychology, or pop and say “Hi” to literature. Wherever we roam and whatever we explore, we shall make sure that it’s always easy and fun to read.
What makes the Mini Philosophy newsletter unique, though, is the central importance of interviews. These newsletters will be framed by conversations I’ve had with academics, authors, thought leaders, and Nobel laureates. You’ll get to listen in on our conversations. You’ll get to see original videos before anyone else. You’ll meet the greatest minds in the world, filtered through my Mini Philosophical curiosity.
So, I hope we can learn something new together and reflect on the stuff that matters. And perhaps, if I’m lucky, we might even have a laugh or two along the way.
You can expect to get the following in the Mini Philosophy newsletter:
News about Mini Philosophy.
Mini meditations on a weekly theme.
First access to the audio or video of my interviews with the biggest names in philosophy (and her sister disciplines).
